OH MY GOODNESS!!
Okay okay okay, so, I'm really really happy at the moment. Why? MY SARRACENIA IS GOING TO flower!!! I havent had any flower yet, so this is really exciting. Plus, they are my favorite plant & their flowers are my absolute favorite. Guess what else is exciting too .... THIS MEANS ITS COMING OUT OF DORMANCY (aka new pitchers soon!!) I can't wait for the rest of them to follow aaaaa!!!
The little bulb looking things among the growth points are the beginnings of the flowers :) Eventually, the flowers should stand at a foot or 2 tall. I'll make sure to post whenever the flowers open ๐
The only unfortunate thing about this is that it's a Sarracenia Flava x Oreophila (hybrid) and.. well.. Sarracenia Flava's flowers (from what I've read) smell like cat pee. But oh well, the beauty of the flowers outweighs the smell.
I would look up Sarracenia flowers if you don't know what they look like, they're beautiful in my opinion!
