Midori's thrips vanish with DIY spray! 🌿⚑️🀩

Thrip Update on Midori 🌿⚑️🀩

I sprayed her down HEAVILY with a concoction I made by mixing at-home ingredients! I used a regular 16oz spray bottle and added half a pump of dish soap, about a teaspoon of distilled vinegar, 2 teaspoons of 70% isopropyl and filled the rest with water.

I sprayed her down 3 times yesterday; morning, afternoon and closer to nighttime. I checked before every spraying and noticed less and less thrips! She’s been quarantined in a corner of a room, with medium light. So far, she’s thriving still!

Checked on her this morning and not A SINGLE SIGN OF THRIP on her leaves, stem, dirt, etc. Obviously I won’t feel relaxed until 2-3 weeks of treating, but felt like sharing this mix with y’all!

If it works for me, it may work for others! Her leaves are still perfectly fine. After the last spray, I made sure to rinse her leaves with a hose to get rid of any stickiness and any chemicals in general (if any).
