Is my rainbow elephant bush's pot big enough?

@Jana85 OMG YOUR COLLECTION IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! 😍😍😍 IM IN LOVE! I ASPIRE TO HAVE A COLLECTION THAT LOOKS THAT GOOD! And your rainbow elephant bush 😍😍 I wanted to ask you if you think mine might need a bigger pot? Since you clearly know what you’re doing! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy also your dog is so cute!

Aww, thank you sooooo much!!! My dog is clearly the star of the show. πŸ˜‚ Tbh, I don’t think my rainbow elephant bush likes me much. It drops leaves if I even look at it funny, and it shed a ton into my floor when I brought it inside for the winter. Oddly, I have started new plants from cuttings that aren’t acting dramatic like that one. I do have to trim it regularly to keep it tree-shaped. I don’t think they need a very big potβ€”yours actually looks much less dramatic and pouty than mine does. Lol.
@Jana85 ok! It had some leaves in the dirt which looked like they were gonna become pups so I didn’t know if I should be worried. Also what do you mean my trimming it? Like how and when would I know to do that?
This is a cutting from my main plant that I started. It was only like 4 leaves on a tiny twig to start with. It even has an all-white branch! It lives in my kitchen and it NEVER drops leaves like it’s dramatic mama.
Omg I just looked at it in your oasis and I didn’t realize how big it got! I’ve seen the cover photo for the elephant bush but man! I’ve never seen a rainbow one like that or somebody actually getting it to that size! I didn’t know the stems got that thick at the bottom! @Jana85
@Jana85 STOP THAT WHITE BRANCH IS SOO COOL! Do you know how I could get mine to do that? πŸ‘€
@PlantyPlanter I trim mine just to adjust the shape/size. I do that to my jades, too. I meant the big one to look like a bonsai tree.
@PlantyPlanter I guess it was just luck! Variegated things do that now and then. I kinda figured that branch would die since it has no chlorophyll, but so far, it’s still going!
@Jana85 that’s so cool! Is it a bad if there are a few leaves on the dirt?
@PlantyPlanter mine sheds leaves constantly. I’ve heard other people say the same thing. I think these must just do thatβ€”it certainly hasn’t killed mine yet. If it’s doing it because it’s angry about something, I’ve never figured out what.
@Jana85 ok I didn’t know if it was just it trying to produce pups. I didn’t have it in good sunlight for a while so maybe that’s why? But the fallen leaves look healthy
@PlantyPlanter same. I’ve tried less light, more light, less water, more water… and still she sheds. Bringing it inside for winter really kicked off the shedding, though. It’s clearly having a tantrum over that.
@Jana85 it looks healthy, I was just lazy and forgot to move it πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ maybe it’s not as unhappy as you think! It has to produce offspring somehow!
