DIY leaf cleaning with hand soap bottles
Came up with a #PlantHack for #PlantingOnABudget! ✨🤭
Cleaning leaves. I’ve never had a designated “bottle” for my cleaning concoction so I always had to dump out whatever mixture I had in my spray bottle and then make a quick batch to clean leaves. If I had to use my spray bottle for something else, I’d have to dump out and redo the process over and over again. I’m done with that 😮💨
I’m a sucker for Bath & Body Works foam hand soap. I love them. I have too many empty bottles that have cute designs and their foaming mechanism works great. Well, WHAT IF I use the hand soap bottles for my leaf cleaning concoction? 🤔🤭
It works AMAZING. I mean, it’s just soapy water so it better work. I mix Water, Dish Dawn soap and a teaspoon of neem oil to clean my leaves ✨🌿 if you have these types of foam soap bottles (doesn’t have to be from BBW!!) USE THEM FOR YOUR CONCOCTIONS! I just use a soft rag and wipe away 😌

@BusyPignut I don’t recommend cleaning plants that have fuzzy or textured leaves! I only clean my waxy, more rubbery leaves i.e Snake Plant, Pothos, Philo, Monstera, Rubber Tree.
@evergreen_pulip it’s my favorite scent 😌 I have 5 candles, 3 soap bottles, wallflowers, etc. I LOVE Fiji white sands. It’s very soft, vanilla-y and musky. It’s dreamy🤍
