#HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation Happy Monday! Just wanted to share some of my latest plants. My #Coleus survived the winter and are absolutely unbelievable. I’m not sure he or she will want to go back outside this summerπŸ˜‰My experiment with attempting to root a baby rubber plant cutting in a make shift humidity chamber is looking successful so far #Pepermonia as are the water props but they are coming along slowly. 😜Lastly, it’s my Flame Violet. She’s is growing an awesome Orange flower #Peperomia #AfricanViolet #FlameViolet #PlantTherapy #

@TutorWaterfern I’m so glad someone else responded to my post so could answer your questions! I saw your reply the other day but then lost track of the post. I mostly kept my plants in a controlled environment (indoor greenhouse) over the winter with grow lights for 12 hours a day. I don’t use fertilizer but I do feed them water based plant food every month. I used a light but chunky soil when I repotted them. I made my own using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil as my base and then I added 1 part peat moss, 2 parts perlite,1 part orchid bark and I also threw in some coco coir chips, small aquarium pebbles and a little organic compost. I water every week and I only use filtered water. I like to bottom water these plants so I set them on a tray filled with water and I keep refilling the tray till the plants stops soaking it up. Essentially with the grow lights they are getting bright indirect light and they get lots of humidity because all the plants are grouped together very closely. Now that they’ve outgrown that space and it’s warmer weather, I’ll start to introduce small bits of time outside in indirect light to acclimate them to going back out doors on my covered patio for summer.
You definitely have a green thumb! πŸ‘ So many beautiful plants there πŸͺ΄πŸ’›
@CostaFarmsTeam thank you! It’s hard work but so worth the effort. We couldn’t do it any of it without your company growing beautiful plants to get us started. 😊
They are beautiful! Plants make me happy!
