Hello everyone, I hope you had a great day. When I got back home today, the first thing I did was check my milkweed. All the aphids were gone. I did spray Neem oil on them earlier before my original post. Thank you so much for all your help. I truly appreciate it.🪴🌻🧑🌾, I took a spray hose and sprayed the plants thoroughly. @SillyPlantGirl , good morning Catherine how are you? I just came back in. I get up at 6:30 AM and start working out on my property. Then I work for about three hours and then come back in and have breakfast. I started laying more 16 x 16 bricks down for my walkway. Also, I started a new butterfly garden this morning on the side of my house where the walkway is. All Florida native flowering plants plus swamp and pink milkweed. I’m envisioning this place being a Haven for butterflies, birds and bees. I’ve actually been seeing hummingbirds around here lately, and I haven’t seen any of those in years. I may get a special feeder for the hummingbirds. all the best always my friend. ☮️🫶🧑🌾
Good morning Bob! Yeah I get up early too most days as Lucie doesn’t sleep but a few hours at a time 😳 we went out to start on my Ponytail- yesterday I moved the dolly it sits in and it fell over and broke. 🤬 so new pot repot from brand new broke pot. And dang if those roots haven’t grown about 4 inches. Omg I’m going to need a big greenhouse to fit all these big pots this winter! I am jealous of all the doing, and all the birds, bees, hummingbirds and all that’s going to visit you. I get loads I birds and bees and butterflies in the morning and hummingbirds in the am and dinner time. I usually have my coffee in the morning out back before it gets too hot, but I’m still feeling icky. I hope you have a wonderful day my friend! 😊🪴💕
@SillyPlantGirl , Hi Catherine and good evening. I just saw your message. I hope you are well. I was home all day and got to spend many hours outside with my plants despite the extreme heat in Central Florida Florida. I created a new butterfly garden on the side of my house today. Worked on my walkway some more. And planted some Indian blanket plants and Scarlet sage in my front yard, in my butterfly garden. I discovered a sub hobby within my Plant hobby. That is finding weird plants on my property identifying them and putting them in a pot. I live in a very green area. My property is plaided in with a state Forest so I get all sorts of vegetation growing here. Almost on a daily basis I find something new and weird growing here. Anyway, I hope you’re well my friend.
