Hey! #TheWateringHole I wanted to start a question thread. I know I'm going to get a ton of information and opinions.. My only wish is to keep things civil! #questionoftheday What is your favorite fertilizer? I've tried so many... I'd like to hear about your favorites!!! I don't have a list of everyone... So if anyone who does could you list everyone? I'll check in off and on... We're heading to Tahoe, still getting the condo ready to sell.... That my #GregFriendsAreTheBestFriends 🐞🏜🦋🌵🪴

Good morning @ZestyWhiteghost ☀️! Currently I don’t have a favorite fertilizer. I’ve just started using Superthrive Foliage Pro because Nadia @DreamMachine likes the results she’s had with it. It’s been about 2-3 months since I started using it. The plants 🪴 are doing well. Is it the Superthrive or is it the longer days? Probably a bit of both. So far I like how easy it is to use, that it’s just a small amount to dilute and that the container is small. Less energy used to ship and can recycle ♻️
@MariansOasis I’ve heard of it! The stuff I have now is for foliage plants but I feel I really have to dilute it. It’s NPK 35-15-10 it’s Vigero. It’ was on sale at my local nursery… plus it’s bright blue… that’s not natural… 🌵
I’ll be the lone outlier- I use happy happy houseplants. They’re a small, woman owned business, they have super cute branding, and even though it’s more expensive, it gets to me fast and works great. I like to give my money to folks other than the billionaires when i can, so it’s worth an extra few bucks to me!

In addition to my above comment and to answer your question.
During the summer, I use "full strength" as per the instructions on the Super Thrive container.
During the winter, I don't use any kind of fertilizer and water with distilled water.
During the Spring and Fall, it's diluted to about half of winter's recommendation.

@CutePolypremum it’s so interesting, because due to the sun angle, my plants have some of their highest growth in the winter! So I fertilize with a diluted strength with each watering year round. Lucky living in a year round sunny state 😎🌞

Oh yes...sunshine is the best food for plants.
I have to use 100 percent gro lights because the tiny windows in my apartment all face North.
But....I do count my blessings and am grateful for my lovely, cozy dwelling.
I really don't know how I got along before discovering house plants!

@MamaLinne same here I fertilize year round. Occasionally will skip a watering just because they probably are fine, and some people say it flushes out buildup of deposits.

@MariansOasis I've ordered some from Amazon and received it already!! We were working on the condo to sell, I've been away for a few days. You pushed me to get superthrive! Started using it today... 🪴🦋🏜🐞🌵
