So my bougainvillea has wilted and doesn’t want to come back. What could be the problem? I’ve watered it and even bottom watered it so the roots could actually soak up the water. @Rezmeck Hello! Welcome to Greg! The stem looks like it is dying. Have you checked the roots to see their condition? I would take it out of the soil and look at the roots. If they are in good condition repot it and cut some of the length off it so it won’t have so much to care for. It should start new growth if the roots are healthy. If the roots are squishy, it’s already too far gone. Make sure when you water it that even the soil low in the pot are dry as well. It’s easy to overwater a plant in a tall pot for that reason. The bottom soil stays wet a lot longer than the top. Good Luck! ❤️
They were doing fine for a few weeks. Then one day it had rained for 3 hours straight and I wasn’t able to hide them under cover the next day it wilted and hasn’t recovered since. It’s been a few days. But I still don’t get it, the other pot went through the same thing but it didn’t wilt @Ponytailmom
