I'd definitely recommend moving it into a terracotta pot with cactus soil in the very near future. Commercial growers use very moisture-retaining soil, which isn't a good fit for a cactus. They need a soil that has plenty of grit (to mimic their natural habitatβ€”the desert). A great soil mix is cactus/succulent soil with extra perlite or pumice rock added (50% soil, 50% perlite or pumice). I can tell from the photo that soil has stayed very damp for a while, so the sooner you can get it out of there, the better. As for the pot, terracotta is best for cacti because it's porous, which helps the soil dry out faster.

I noticed the plant info for this and your other cacti says they're in a north-facing window. This definitely will NOT be enough sun for these sun-loving desert plants to survive. When kept indoors, they need to be right up against the glass of a south or west-facing window, where they can get a minimum 6 hours of direct sun. If you don't have a window facing either direction, you have two options: get some grow lights, or, since you literally live in the desert, put them outside πŸ˜› You live in a climate where your cacti can stay outside year round and absolutely thrive! It would be a shame to keep them indoors where they're not getting enough light. When cacti don't get enough sun, new growth will come in thinner and weaker, and there's a much greater chance of them rotting. So give 'em that blazing Phoenix sun, girl!! πŸ˜›πŸͺ΄πŸ™πŸΌ
It is really beautiful, but it looks more like an euphorbia plant (fake cactus) it is a type of succulents. If so, Please use safety glasses, long sleeves and good gloves when you repot this plant. The milky like substance they proce is an strong irritant and can damage your eyes too. Sometimes they can miss labels the name and QR code information on big stores. Best wishes and have a good day.
