My lithops is finally splitting!! These little guys look so funny 😂 I know you aren’t supposed to water a lithops while it’s splitting, is but there anything else I should be doing..? Good call on not watering! While it's splitting, the new plant absorbs all the nutrients and moisture it needs from the old one, so it doesn't need any additional water added. My only other advice would be patience—it can take a LONG time for it to fully split, I'm talking months. If you check it every other day hoping to see progress you'll be very disappointed lol.
@slayonium oh no 😭 Noted 😆 I’m getting ready to make another try. In my defense, (excuses excuses 😜) my husband gifted me one as a surprise, years ago, and I had noooo idea what I was doing 🙃 I watered it once and it died.
