Itโ€™s heating up in AZ ๐Ÿฅต letโ€™s see how this summer goes for all my plant babies. Itโ€™s a struggle to keep some of them happy when summer hits. Iโ€™ll do my best the next 4-5 months ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ. Until now everyone has been thriving, including my Cebu Blue Pothos. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #CebuBluePothos

@SubtlePeyote youโ€™ll do just fine!! I not too far from Tempe and I canโ€™t believe the temperature today. My cedu is insane (see my oasis), I cut some of the vines off to prop them. I have success with my pothos so I have my fingers crossed lol.
@SvelteDevilsivy I saw your cebu blue! Looking great also! Yeah, Iโ€™m not pleased we are this hot already haha. ๐Ÿ˜† so long as I keep up with watering my plants will be okay but sometimes I get busy and they get neglected, I try not to let that happen tho. Stay cool! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
I gave up on outside plants after last summer killed off most of my aloes and other outdoor plants on the patio. I feel your pain. Iโ€™ve been sleeping with the windows open and know that soon that wonโ€™t even be an option. Hello to insane Az summer electric bills โœ…
Im live in mesa, and it is burning ๐Ÿฅต. Its crazy how heat can change your plants needs.
@SubtlePeyote hello Christina I am not anywhere close to AZ and cannot imagine the heat. I am a baby when it get too hot. Hopefully you will do fine in keeping your plants on the happy side.. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป. Your Cebu blue pothos is beautiful.. ๐Ÿคฉ
@SubtlePeyote I forgot to mention that my cedu, pothos, Phil brasil are in self watering planters..I know some are against that but I do occasionally top water (especially to fertilize or giving beneficial bacteria). I still monitor water levels and donโ€™t just fill the reservoir constantly.
@SubtlePeyote @Goofystarplants Hey guys, Iโ€™m near Tempe marketplaceโ€ฆ my two elephant ears..Iโ€™m looking to offload (see my Oasis). If you all know anyone near here, Iโ€™d be willing to meet. Iโ€™ll post my phone # for text for 24 hrs. 480-808-5533
@SvelteDevilsivy dang just seeing this post months later ๐Ÿคช
@SvelteDevilsivy what do you do for plant care when youโ€™re out of town. Iโ€™ll be away for 3 weeks at end of August. We have a dog/ house sitter we are trying to line up but Iโ€™m not sure about needing a plant sitter lol
@SubtlePeyote safe to assume given your dog being there that the AC will still be running? My longest vacations are generally a week, which is much different than three. You can try a wicking system but youโ€™ve got a lot of plants and itโ€™d be a pain in the ass. Personally id adjust my plants watering schedules before I left so they all get watered right before you leave and then have your house sitter water them all on a very easy to follow schedule that isnโ€™t complicated.
Hereโ€™s a good Reddit thread where people talk about this subject quite a bit. Solid read: https://www.reddit.com/r/indoorgardening/s/wi8tu65nlS
