Not everything is death and destruction around here: my schilleriana bloomed for the very first time. And it's waaay more pink than I anticipated. And with another petal shape than anticipated. Maybe she needs to grow a bit still.
Now to protect her from all that aforementioned death and destruction... #orchidlovers #phalaenopsisorchid #happyplants

She is absolutely beautiful 😍
What a fabulous color!
@Ninabeena @LoriB it is, isn't it. By now, she has opened more flowers. No scent yet, but I didn't expect any with her first bloom
@MusicalRedmint I am trying to be patient with mine but they refuse to bloom. I have them under grow lights and water weekly and give them WTW orchid growth stuff. I don’t know what else to do.
@Ninabeena Have you had the temperature drop for some time? If not, try placing them near the window when it gets cooler outside or devise some other method to cool her for a few degrees for some time. A consistent cool down overnight can be sufficient as well, I've heard, if to live in a very temperature controlled place. By now, I highly suspect that one reason why I haven't had many issues reblooming mine is because I live in a temperate climate without AC.
