More! New! Babies!!! the stork just brought me these from Ecuagenera:
1: Aerangis hyaloides - my first micro/mini orchid π° Iβm nervous about caring for this one so if anyone has experience with micro/mini orchids of this variety, please do share!
2: Alocasia βPollyβ - my only other alocasia is a black velvet & itβs grown very well for me, but Iβve heard the βPollyβ is a little finicky so any care tips are appreciated!
3: Philodendron βBirkinβ - can someone tell me what is going on with this? Is that a bloom in the center or is it just how they grow out new leaves???

@melaza info on your Alocasia. Your Alocasia enjoys the warmth, preferably between 65β85 degrees, so maintain indoor temperatures above 60 degrees. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes. Feed once a month during the spring and summer with a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants such as our All Purpose Fertilizer (20-20-20). https://bloomscape.com/plant-care-guide/alocasia/#:~:text=Your%20Alocasia%20enjoys%20the%20warmth,drafts%20and%20sudden%20temperature%20changes.&text=FOOD-,Feed%20once%20a%20month%20during%20the%20spring%20and%20summer%20with,20%2D20%2D20).
@melaza on your first plant. This species should be watered frequently, but the roots must dry quickly after watering: stagnation of water is not tolerated. The bare root specimens get water once a day (even two or three on the hottest days or if they are grown on the windowsill). AERANGIS PUNCTATA CARE AND CULTURE

Polly was my first Alocasia! I was kind of scared of these plants before because everyone complains how fussy they are. I think once you find the right groove for your plant and just stay consistent theyβre really not that bad. I did make the mistake of putting it way too close to the grow light when I first got it so it got some sunburn so just be careful of that. οΏΌNow alocasia is one of my favorite plants and I want more varieties!
@melaza micro / mini orchid!? π₯Ίπ I canβt wait to see / hear more
