My string of dolphins fell from the ceiling! It was in a hanging pot and I was trying to get it down but it fell and the plant fell out all over my carpet. What are these white things on it? Can I save this plant, or is it completely dead? 💀 Btw, I haven’t checked the roots yet!! She's got really bad mealy bugs. Pretty much everything will work to treat them. Neem oil, insecticidal soap etc. Treatment is every 3 days for 3 weeks.
I would cut off most of it and just leave a few of the better strings. As long as the roots are good she has a chance to come back. You will have to treat the soil as well they can also get in there. Mealy bugs love succulents. I circled one on a photo. They bigger cottony patches are what they lay their eggs in.
