Cute cute!!

Michelle! How gorgeous and happy is that little beauty! It’s amazing. What type of Hoya is it? πŸ₯°
@SirGrandfir79 Wow!!! What type of Hoya is this one? It’s gorgeous πŸ’•
@Idplantthat it looks like a Hoya lacunosa/krohniana splash 😁
@DreamMachine thanks Nadia! I’m going to look them up so I can understand a few questions I have, but I feel like they are such newbie questions I don’t want to waste more time asking. 🀭 If I get stumped though, I’ll be asking you, so I hope you don’t mind too much
@Idplantthat girl you know you can always ask me! I love talking hoya 😘
@Idplantthat just was sharpening my fingertips to type, when I saw @DreamMachine's reply. Just what I wanted to say. No such animal as newbie questions. And especially for "newbie questions" I've found internet sources increasingly unreliable. More specialized questions it's easier to find reliable sources like experienced growers talking about that stuff or some papers even.
Topics like: how often should I water a hoya? I break into cold sweat at the thought of some quick Google answers I've seen. (Not even mentioning AI). And at the beginning of my hoya journey, I found it hard to separate opinionated nonsense from well-researched or sufficiently experienced based facts without looking up more scientific material or getting a feel whose blogs/ channels/ etc are trustworthy in the hoya world. Which, of course, at first glance seems like overkill for seemingly basic questions πŸ˜….
More importantly, since hoyas apparently aren't plants but rather an addiction or cult (I'm not the only one, am I?), I feel most hoya people on Greg love to share pictures, opinions, etc on any hoya related matter anyway. I dare you to try to get me to stop on an otherwise slow and rainy day. πŸ™ƒ I'd say, just ask away if you feel like it. Just like Nadia said: I (and I'm certain many others here) love talking hoya. 🌸😊
