Everyone, meet Eeka, my darling little, first-ever snake plant.
I’d been eyeing the laurentii in the #GregPlantShop ever since I was let in last month, and after Sarah @RealSimpleMama) got two new snakes last week, I finally jumped on the slippery slope train and ordered myself this sweet little girl.
She’s named after one of my childhood best friend’s 5-foot long Rosie Boa. I’ve always loved the name he’d given that snake and have always wanted to use it myself.
Can’t wait to see how she grows and if she’ll be as twisty as I’m hoping! 🐍 🌱 💚

@RealSimpleMama I did not know that! I mean I’d read that they’re great at air purification but not so highly rated, and by NASA, even! So sexy! LOL Might be gettin’ another somewhat soon if I come across one that speaks to me. Think they speak in parcel tongue, or would it have a planty accent?? 😜😂
@RefinedSandwort Yeah, I think it might be indeed. I gotta be cool for a while, though. In the last nine days I’ve brought SIXTEEN new plants into my house. 😳🙄 I literally have no space left to quarantine anything until all these do their time and can be sprung for good behavior. 😜
