Hello all my friends 👋🏽 I pray everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I keep it very quiet and simple 😂
So a couple of mine are experiencing some issues;
I’ve been researching but I can’t figure it out:
The rest have been watered and fertilized.
The Burkin has a soft brown spot on the white leaf: google say it’s normal process that Burkin go through but I’m very skeptical, it’s not supposed to get soft as it turns dark! (Jmo)
I was only save 2 small ZZ from Lazarus, and it’s not overwatered but turning yellow: I just repotted about a week ago and there was no noticeable root rot:

@Preciousplants1 I know you love your Birkin, but trust and believe, the information given to you, from all of us is accurate. I had a Potho Manjula, I hope I spelled it right, but it had several white leaves, and it always had brown dark spots on it too. The leaves, just died off, but my Potho was fine

Hi Sherri!
Quite a few of us have experienced the rotten leaf that you described.
With my Birkie the problem went away when I moved him from 1 foot under my gro light to about 5 feet underneath it.
As my apartment only has northern exposure and 4 small windows, all of my plants are under gro lights.
Also, let your Birken completely dry out between waterings and never use tap water.

You can snip off that white spotted, rotten leaf as it is of no use and is dead...

The lighter leaves are new leaves. It takes time for them to produce chlorophyll and will turn a darker shade of variegated leaves 🍃
as you can see in the photos I just took.

@SweetAzurebluet hi Harriet thank you, is the brown area soft on your? Oh my! That’s a beautiful one! 🤩The plant is good n healthy even got a couple of leaves uncurling; I’m just really concerned about that one. The other white ones are getting darker with the pinstripes.
