Hello wonderful and blooming plant people. I hope you are well. Here is an update on my Chaste tree. When I received it, it was riddled with black fungus and infested with insects with a considerable amount of damage. I took the plant out of the pot inspected the roots thoroughly put it in fresh soil in a bigger pot. I then sprayed it with knee oil. The next day I sprayed it with copper fungicide, several doses. I then pruned off all the fungus and infested leaves. It seems to be doing very well and has exceeded my expectations of it for recovery. In a few days, I will plant it in the ground. @Malagueña Nice job chase berries are wonderful for the female reproductive system. But I think they take a few years to grow in . Isn’t it wonderful saving something that seemed doomed .
@SillyPlantGirl , here is a photo of a mature Chaste Tree. This is the wonderful tree that introduced me . It , literally, had hundreds of bees on it. That’s why I bought one. 🫶
@ILoveMyPlants , I love it. I have quit a few plants that were given up for dead by their former owners. They are all thriving. 👍
