@KonaKB that is so pretty! The trunk on this one is very light tan and smooth.
@peter1 yup! Iβll have to turn into that street one day lol
@sarahsalith any guesses on this one?
@sarahsalith thanks! βΊοΈ thatβs what I was thinking, but the shape of this one is so pretty. I think I see something pink on the corner π€ ughhh so pretty!! Are they fast growers?
@babyfiretiger13 they ARE fast growers! And I love the way they have trimmed that one. I have a few that are growing, but they are too small to sculpt at the moment.
@sarahsalith ahhh so this is sculpting lol, they always have this tree like this so I assumed it grew naturally so perfect! I want one! That would be so pretty in my backyard! Iβm going back in a bit to pick up my daughter from her grandparentβs house so Iβll take some better pics to get an exact ID on this one!
@Israeltraveler this one has multiple trunks so Iβm not so sure! Ash trees are beautiful nonetheless, I just looked them up and Iβm in love π
@PinkNymph pretty! Yea it does have red flowers starting out! Such a pretty tree
@MaturingRimu I will try that! π
@Sleepysunday I did get to pass by again! And admired it was π love the shape too!
@sarahsalith haha this was all I could get, my husband couldnβt really get too close as there was a ton of 4th of July traffic for a celebration happening now.
It does look like a mimosa tree. I have three of them, and theyβre covered in pink fuzzy flowers that smell AMAZING. Hummingbirds love the flowers. They do grow pretty fast, too. Mine make seed pods that look like big flat bean pods, and I sometimes notice baby mimosas popping up in ditches or in my neighborsβ yards. π Mine (and almost Iβve seen) all have a shape similar to this without any pruning.
@Jana85 Iβm thinking of adding a tree to my backyard and this is just so beautiful! Iβve been reading up on how they are invasive as well! Thatβs the only thing Iβm worried about since I live in a pretty strict HOA community Iβd first have to petition the tree and then how would I control flying seed pods?! We all have to keep our yards very neat so Iβm wondering if their (neighbors) weekly mows would take care of the baby mimosas? Have any of your neighbors complained to you? π€
@PinkNymph hopefully I will! Pretty soon as I see it is just starting!
@vvvelo theyβre so beautiful! We have a ton of oak trees and crepe myrtles in our community so this beauty really stands out!
@babyfiretiger13 mowing would definitely take care of it. I live in very rural Kentucky where things definitely get a bit more overgrown! Mine are right next to our hay fields and they donβt really even come up there, since we mow them a couple of times a year.
