I won these #greggivesback Hoyas a little over 1.5 years ago and just wanted to post an update πŸ™‚ The 2 longer ones only had a few leaves when I first got them, now they're so long I have to wrap them up just to have enough room. The other 2 were just tiny propagations when I first got them and they have finally started to grow more leaves.

They're currently crammed together under a grow light, but does anyone know if these will do well in a north facing window?

Thanks Greg!

Edit: I can't add another pic but after making this post I put one of them on the trellis thing that was on the Greg Gives Back gift box (and I used the clips they included). Pic in comments.
Since making this post, I put one of them on this thing that I also got from #greggivesback, and I used the clips they sent in the gift box.
They all look FABULOUS! 😍
Wonderful! I love a good update πŸ₯° They are beautiful 🀩

I also think a grow light would be better than a north facing window.
@NotableKonjac , that is fabulous! They are stunning. 🀩
@NotableKonjac that’s a cute idea.
Wow you scored big time with #greggivesback !!! Very nice Hoyas πŸ’š. As for a north window, it’s not the textbook ideal location however I have 4 Hoyas in north windows and they’re thriving. Here’s how:
*they’re hanging about 4” from the glass panes
*the glass doesn’t have any tinting or screens
*there is no obstruction from another building, roof or trees, it’s a 24/7 view of the sky
*there is some reflective light from the light colored deck.

They grow like mad, new leaves, peduncles, blossoms 🌸🌸 and they’re sun stressing a bit too. Not as much as my south or east facing Hoyas. Also I’m in So CA, mild climate and sunshine most of the year. It may be too cold in NC during the winter πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.
