A lil #Succulent update on the arrangement I put together a couple weeks ago-
3 out of 7 of these were declining rapidly (before this repot) because the (previous) soil mix wasnβt retaining enough water for the Echeveria βSeraphinaβsβ,. They were struggling to stay hydrated, & the smallest one had lost a majority of its roots because the soil was super coarse & dry, which wasnβt ideal for itβs super fine hair like root system. I repotted with different soil ratios, & gave them some friends to harmonize with. πΏβ¨π€ Iβm so happy to say that they both seem to be taking well & have rooted into the soil. When slightly pulling them they resist which lets me know the roots are growing & establishing well within the new soil mix. They are much more hydrated, & plump.
The same goes for the starburst pachyphytum which was struggling as well, but is thriving in its new home! β¨π«Άπ»πͺ΄ #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #GrowingSuccs #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #Echeveria #Pachyphytum #Pachyveria #arrangements

@SunnyPlants thank you! I think so too.. not much of a color contrast right now but once summer is here and they are exposed to more direct lighting, their stress colors will show (:
@SunnyPlants me too! π€βοΈπͺ΄ I find that my lights donβt bring out the colors (they arenβt strong enough) they will bring some stress colors along the edges, but only if they are DIRECTLY under the light. Sunlight is really the best way to do it, but you have to be careful not to over stress the plant by exposing it to too much sunlight at once, or for too long during the hottest hours of the day.
