My young schilleriana in full bloom. No fragrance, sadly, but a real beauty, and just in time that I got to see it before my hospital stay. If it hadn't messed up everything else, I almost would consider being really thankful for that cold that delayed the surgery and helped me see this one in all its glory. The cold - as always with me - is still ongoing after weeks, but as it looks right now at least, the surgery will happen anyway. Which means I will probably be home in time to see all my other phal and oncidium blooms. Wish me luck. #phalaenopsisorchid #happyplants #orchidlovers

@MusicalRedmint oh I love the color, Susann. Such a subtle pink on the outer of the leaves π€©
I hope you hospital stay goes well and you have someone caring for your plants if you need it. Certainly wish you luck and hope you have a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
Thanks for sharing and hope to see some more of your blooms in time. ππ

Thank you, @Seymour. Dog, plants, and apartment are taken care of. Only remaining question mark is whether I will find a timely sitter for the rests of the mean little bacteria residing in my body right now. But postponing it another time is also messy. So...π€·ββοΈ
Yes she is a beauty. A lot more delicate than advertised and I love it. I'm already really looking forward to is next bloom to see if it does develop fragrance after some time, after all.

@Araceae I have a pulcherrima primary hybrid - the orchidom nancy. Sadly the leaves are closer to the other parent this time around (I lost the first one, which had the most amazing leaves, to a fungus. I replaced it because of the leaves but they turned out less stunning. Still beautiful though.)
This particular schilleriana has particular beautiful patterning on the leaves, though I miss the smell. The fragrance alone is always enough of a reason to put it on any wishlist π
Now I'm off to google the Cellinde π

@MusicalRedmint wow, she is stunning and the pre-op pick-you-up thatβs needed. Susann, I am wishing you the best with your surgery and a speedy recovery.
