Variegated alocasia's rapid root growth surprise

I brought this Alocasia home and repot it the same day… that was 2 weeks ago….

That root is just searching for water; it's a rogue root. You don't have to worry about repotting it if you just did it. (:

@sarahsalith Yeah I’m not going to repot at the moment, but there are actually about 8 roots poking out!

I’m not worried about the plant, I was just making a post about the new growth! 🙂
