Hello everyone, I hope you are well. It has been awhile since I have been here. We had a far colder than normal winter here in west central Florida. I spent alot of time bringing my plants indoors. Despite that they did suffer some damage. My Snake Plant suffered significant damage. I am guessing that it has environmental damage. Your, constructive, comments would be greatly appreciated. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #PestControl @AdonicKohleria2 @BuffCaperspurge @DreamMachine @FamedGymealily @princesspitstop @Theoreyofplants @Kaitlinfaith_ @FamedGymealily @katewarner @sunnymatcha
@Malagueña Hi Bob 👋 I'm not 100% sure if it's fungal or environmental but either way I would remove any leaves that look like that. Cut them as close to the bottom of the leaf as possible just to keep it from spreading if it is something fungal. It's nice to hear from you again!! 😁 I hope all is well!
@princesspitstop hi Heidi, it’s good to hear from you again. Thank you for the information. It doesn’t appear to be a fungus rather than just some sort of leaf damage. Since the planet grows in rhizomes i’m sure it will not disturb it to cut a few of the leaves off. Once again, thank you.
@Malagueña Actually trimming a few leaves will cause it to produce pups! It does mine every time 😁👍
@princesspitstop is yours in a pot or in the ground?
@Malagueña I have a few of them and they're all in pots.
@princesspitstop they are beautiful.
@Malagueña Thank you Sir! 😁
@Malagueña Hi Bob! It’s nice to see you here again ☺️ That winter really did a number on a lot of Floridian greggers plants 😔 I’m not a pathologist but I don’t think that damage is caused by a pathogen. 🤔 I would probably do just what Heidi @princesspitstop said and remove the heavily damaged leaves. And Heidi, you say that has inspired pups to start 😲🤨🥳 Good to know!! 😁
