@SillyPlantGirl , after living here for decades I’m finally turning this place into a Haven for bees, butterflies, and birds. I just took a quick walk around my house within 15 yards of my house. I counted 80 wild American beauty berry bushes growing. I just transplanted three of them into pots

@ILoveMyPlants , good morning Deb. It is now 6:45 AM in West Central Florida. According to what I read, milkweed is the only plant that the monarch butterflies will lay their eggs on. I recently purchased 1000 seeds. Yesterday I planned it about half of them.
@SillyPlantGirl , yes, I checked on him yesterday. He was doing very well and still eating. I hope I don’t run out of milk weed plants before he’s had enough. I put a whole lot more milkweed seeds, and extended my garden. 🌱
