How to fertilize Pink Quill
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pink Quill after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Should I cut the “bloom” My pink “bloom” started to turn green and is now a grey-ish color. Should I cut the bloom off?

pink quill has some drying leaves hi everyone! i just returned from time away from my plant and was a few days late on it’s watering schedule. i noticed it has some browning leaves that aren’t fully dead and i’m wondering whether i should remove them or let them be or what it means! #PinkQuill

I decided to finally repot Theodora. She was wobbly so I decided to break all the soil away from her roots and see what was up .The grower had used a fabric bag like gauze and this is why her roots were all in one spot. I could not remove it completely but was able to cut it so that her roots can spread and give her stability. I always thought those bags either broke down or dissolved over time. #happyplants #pinkquill #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Watering Bromeliads Can/Should you bottom water bromeliads? I know they say to water at like the stem, & the water kinda pools where the leaves branch out, & that's nature's design. But, I'm used to bottom watering my plants, & I'm just not sure if I should continue that with Dusty Rose, or not. I'd also hate to begin worrying about fungus gnats 😆 #bromeliad #water #bottomwatering #happyplants #question #planttherapy #pinkquill #pinkquillplant #gnatproblem

Cat Snack Hi everyone, my #PinkQuill is suffering due to a cat with a taste for its crunchy leaves. Any suggestions on how to rehab my poor plant? I’m not really worried about the aesthetics, but I would like for it to stay alive!
