Finding light for Cocoon Plant in your home

a window
Cocoon Plant may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Cocoon Plant in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Cocoon Plant

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Cocoon Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Help Id-ing Looking for help identifying this plant! Greg says a Panda Plant but that's not right! #Kalanchoe #succulentsquad #happyplants #succulent

Identification again So Greg defiantly misidentified my little succulent here. I'm not totally sure what it is, but I'm positive it's name had "Ghost" in it. The reason it's not in a pot, is because I have potted this sucker 5 TIMES. Every single pot, he decides he's too good for and just falls out. But, he's so intent on survival. I didn't water him for the longest time and he stuck through it. I decided I would give him another chance before I dug his grave. Any help? #succulentlove #plantid #happyplants

My string of dolphins fell from the ceiling! It was in a hanging pot and I was trying to get it down but it fell and the plant fell out all over my carpet. What are these white things on it? Can I save this plant, or is it completely dead? 💀 Btw, I haven’t checked the roots yet!! And there are more pictures of the plant in the comments. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #NewPlantMom #PlantCorner #HangingPlants #StringOfDolphins #stringofthings #disaster #helpneeded

Do the lower leaves of Spear Head Senecio naturally yellow and die off or do I have a problem? My Spearhead recently had three leaves yellow and die. They are firm and have a normal texture. They were all the oldest leaves at the bottom. It was repotted about 3 months ago and it grew quite a bit after that. It is regularly fertilized. There is no sign of root rot. My Spear Head is in a very well draining terracotta pot with a combo of succulent soil with 35% grit. It is watered only when a moisture meter indicates it is dry. The plant is under a grow light which is just inches from its top leaves. It gets 830fc of red, blue, and white light for 12hrs per day. I see no signs of sunburn. I’m at a loss unless it’s normal leaf loss. I’d appreciate any ideas you might have. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #GregGang

New environment, cold room possibly overwatered- help! I just got this beauty and she’s been moved into my office which is pretty cold over the weekends (I’d say mid 50s- low 60s). No grow light yet and I might have overwatered her for such a cold environment since some of her leaves were looking a bit pruney. Is this a love her and leave her alone situation or is there anything I should do at the moment to help her out? I’d like to repot her and give her some drier soil but I also don’t want to add extra stress

Water grown clippings dying after transplant? So I ordered a few clippings off of Etsy about a month or two ago, and they rooted super well, and so when they were ready (3x3 rule of course) I potted them into soil. According to Greg, both types of plant (string of dolphins and string of pearls) like well draining soil, so I added in perlite and some coir. Within like two days they were both shrivelled. I couldn’t save the string of pearls, but the string of dolphins is currently in more water and rerooting really well. Is this because I made the soil too well draining for the roots which were used to being in pure water? Any tips on how to avoid this happening again without encouraging them to rot? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation #roots #StringOfPearls #StringOfDolphins #help #Propagation
