I’ve had my heart leaf philodendron for about 8 months to a year and it has survived so well. It can get dry as a bone and still look healthy. I love how soft and touchable the leaves look. The deep green color compliments any living space and it’s a gorgeous trailing plant that’s so easy to water prop.

This heart leaf grows way faster than a golden pothos. Leaves are a darker shade of green and it vines from the outset. Definitely will need a trellis for this young plant. My golden pothos isn’t quite there yet and it’s an older plant. This is a good beginner plan. I would not place it next to my west facing window it’s little leaves will burn. If a must, bring the blinds all the way down or provide it with partial shade from a sheer curtain.
