I’ve taken advantage of this philos abilities to tolerate/survive (but not quite thrive) in low light conditions for a while by having this one in a pretty dark-ish room. I’ve recently moved it to a brighter light situation (filtered/indirect) and it’s really starting to take off. Philodendrons are such easy, low maintenance plants- it’s hard not to appreciate them.

Trails nicely, dry out in between watering. Keep in a bright room, preferably out of direct sunlight.

I got this in a very small pot so I didn’t have high hopes. It’s been right next to the window and it’s grown so quickly! I just made a cutting to propagate it because it does so well.

This baby is perfect for low light areas and looks amazing hanging I deal with a plastic pot with drainage and you can place the pot in a bowl of water and the plant will take the amount of water it needs so you’ll never overwater it

I love mine! I saw moderate growth when I got it in the winter, but once it hit spring, it started GROWING growing and the vines are super long now!
It usually gets watered on time, but the few times it hasn’t, I haven’t seen any negative effects. 😁

This plant is a true survivor. She’s a little dramatic when she gets cold or thirsty but otherwise grows really quickly, bounces back like a champ, and is very easy to care for. She looks impressive with minimal effort!
