You’ll need to get a pole with a rope or moss on it so the branches will have something to hold onto. They’re very sensitive to light so you’ll need to rotate them to keep them straight.

I’ve only had my monstera for about a month and a half, but he has grown so fast and is very low maintenance. When I first got him he was only as tall as the stake in his pot, but now he’s well over that. 10/10 would recommend

My monstera has given me no problems so far which is interesting-my two pothos plants seem more problematic and high maintenance which I didn’t expect. Monstera leaves are growing quickly with so many baby leaves emerging, the larger leaves are getting that cool “split” effect, and they seem happy with the once a week watering so far and the West facing sunlight!

You need to decide whether you want them to grow freeform or if you want to stake them. Staking makes them grow large and tall whereas freeform makes them wide and wild!

If I had to pick one plant to save in a house fire I would cry for days because I love all my plants but then I would also immediately snatch my monstera up and usher her to safety. I LOVE this plant dearly. It is so forgiving, so beautiful, so large, so majestic. I would recommend this plant to beginners because of how rewarding it is!

I love my monstera! I got her as a tiny plant for my wedding from my sister 5 years ago and she has grown so much!
She does live indirect sunlight, she likes to see the sky but does not want to get tan is how my sister explained how to best position her!
I would highly recommend this to any plant parent!
