Finding light for aureopinnata in your home
a window
aureopinnata may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of aureopinnata in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize aureopinnata
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your aureopinnata after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hi! I’ve decided to propagate this leg of my Monstera, does anyone have good advice on how to do that in water? Once it has grown roots, do I add it back to the original pot with the same plant, or would I need to start it in a new pot? Thank you!! EDIT: considering this is a vine monstera, is this something I should support in growing and not propagate?

Does the yellow on the edges of my leaves mean I need to water more often? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #MonsteraMonday #PlantMoms

#MonsteraMonday He’s unfurling 🥹 That perfect little spiral, soaked in droplets like he’s just stepped out of the bath and is shyly stretching for the first time — this is the best kind of plant moment. #NewGrowth #NewLeafAlert #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantCorner #PlantTherapy

Why is my Thai con not thriving? I’ve had this darling for just over two years now I think, and I’ve had her in all sorts of set ups: hydro, southern windowsill, shelf opposite southern window, west windowsill, now she’s in potting/perlite mix (her root system is still surprisingly small for her age) and under a red/blue grow light. I do realise that full spectrum is better, but I don’t have access to any of those unfortunately :( Regardless, my issue is always the same: she’s stuck on three leaves. Every time she starts pushing a new one out, the oldest dies off. She’s working on a third leaf right now and the oldest leaf is looking good, but I know that as soon as she starts working on a fourth then the oldest will drop, often before the new leaf is even out!! She’s under a grow light 12hrs a day (she does get natural light during the day but it’s winter right now so the sun rises at like 8am and sets at 4pm) and I water whenever the soil feels dry enough for a water, which tbh isn’t that often. For all of my plants I water maybe once a month and they’re doing ok. I’m a chronic overwaterer (root rot and I are very well known to each other), so I err on the side of caution with watering. I usually bottom water with fertiliser and let them soak for around 15-20mins, then place them on a towel to soak up any excess water. I do this for all of my plants, but of course adjust soaking time for pot size. I try to keep the humidity between 55-65%, and every time I see a leaf start to buckle I either water or up the humidity a bit, although I’m confused on why only the oldest leaf is buckle right now 😅 Excuse the picture quality, the grow light makes taking a decent picture a bit of a nightmare #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #ThaiConstellation #Monstera #MonsteraMob #help #TropicalPlants

Do I need to repot this monstera? I’m guessing those are roots on top of the soil? Just got her from the grocery store today.
