It needs to be in direct sunlight for more than a hour a day, or it may begin to die. Mine was indoors and near a window, but not in direct sunlight for very long, so I decided to put it outdoors, and sure enough my plant became full of life again. I live in the dessert so I have to water it everyday or it may become dehydrated and die. I only put a small bit of water. If where you live is in extreme heat and sunlight exposure like my home, you too, should water it everyday.

Gladys is a wonderful plant that started off as a regular propagation. They do brown fairly easy, but is extremely manageable. I highly recommend non-terracotta pots for the kalanchoe. Gladys started in one and seems to enjoy a stone pot more. Very easy to water and manage and LOVES sunlight.

I bought this for Galentines Day and I swear it had bad luck. She’s been dropped, knocked over and fallen off the plant area so many time by my family. I’m always worried that it’ll die by the trauma it had gone through. But it was survived and is doing much better now that it’s in a secure location with its siblings.

Pretty easy to care for. When it blooms, the flowers quickly replace themselves after they die. If it gets direct sunlight, the leaves will brown and die off. Has been thriving and growing like crazy since its last bloom. I can’t wait until it blooms again because the flowers are so pretty!

I bought this plant at a grocery store mostly for the pot it came in (a polar bear head) around Christmas time. The plant used to have pretty flowers on it, but they fell off. I’m hoping they will come back again similar to a Christmas cactus. But the leaves are pretty by themselves as well.

My girls gave this to me three years ago as a 3" plant. It grows so well and quickly. As it gets taller, you can just break off a stem and stick it straight into the soil. When it blooms, it's just so beautiful. It's a great plant to have if you like to share your plants.

Got this for my partner and forgot about her until she dried up and turned brown (I didn’t have this app back then so it’s not my fault I swear). Then more than 6 months later, I saw she had new growth! I originally wanted to call her Phoenix since she was reborn, but then I noticed she actually died and 4 more took her place. Should I call her Hydra instead? Hmm... Anyways, yeah, she’s cool, I guess.
