How to fertilize Pink Flame Hedychium
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pink Flame Hedychium after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Wilting and shriveling leaves My Variegated Ginger plant was watered by the nursery the day I purchased it and Greg is not recommending watering it again for another 3 days (9 days in total between watering.) The plant has been under a grow light since I purchased it. The bottom leaves have dried and fallen off while leaves closer to the top of the plant are beginning to do the same thing, turning to a paper-like consistency. Does anyone have any experience with these guys? Any advice?
