How to fertilize Gooseberry Plant

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Gooseberry Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

there’s new grow but at the same time older ones are shrivelling up the heartiness at the base of the plant is slowly shrivelling up but there is still new growth happening at the bottom of the strands. I can’t tell if it needs to be watered more often. the rest of the beads look plump but it’s just a couple that start to shrivel. can someone tell me what’s going wrong? also what is the white part on some of the beads?

Right now I’m sure what is happening to water near the roots. I’m not sure if getting root rot or not? I’m not sure if I should changed por or stop giving water for a bit #StringOfWatermelons

#SaturdaySwaps strikes again! (Evil supervillain laugh) CJ sent me such a fun box and things look absolutely fantastic even though the poor box got stuck over the weekend. This philo Brasil leaf is the size of my kid’s head! And ZOMG TINY WATERMELONS!!!! 😍🍉🌱 The bag of beads were such a cool surprise and have already been commandeered by aforementioned leaf-sized headed child (but not before a few beads made it onto said Brasil cutting!). And everyone started to root in their paper towels while en route! Thanks so much @DapperPineapple - I believe this is the first of many swaps between us, and the start of a long fruitful friendship! 💌🌱☀️❤️ #PlantMail #CuttingsClub #PhilodendronBrasil #StringOfWatermelons

I have no idea how to help this guy. I've tried everything I can think of and read up on. I even had my mother in law try and help. He's just going downhill since I brought him home.

Plant Mail + lighting question #plantmail #plantsmakepeoplehappy Plant mail today! Lepismium cruciformus - I guess I can join the ranks of the #cactusclique (is it a cactus, or a succulent?). Tree Aeonium #treeaeonium....love the pictures of these and desperately want this to work...it arrived a little smooshed out of shape, but I suspect it will relax overnight or when it gets a drink. #Sempervivum Jungle Fires. Hope I can keep this baby alive! And lastly , #stringofwatermelons String of WATERMELONS - so cute! For the SOW the lighting details say indirect sunlight, but the plant card says direct sunlight 🤔. What the heck is a plant parent to do? I've seen some of your pics where these are outside (and flowering even...Jennifer @Boymom-plantmom has one!), but lots of pics online where folks keep them inside. Based on the looks of the tips of the plant as shipped, it has had some sunlight recently (tips are lighter colored and slightly pink).

String of Watermelons I received the string of watermelons approximately one week ago. I planted it and watered it. Now it looks like a few of the watermelons are so full they're ready to pop. Should I cut those off in sacrifice to allow the babies to be watered on a normal schedule? Or should I just not water for an extended time until those shrink? I do notice a few edema spots. It is outside on the front porch so it gets a decent amount of sun during the day shade all after about 1:00. It has been super humid here in the midwest, so I wonder too if maybe that has something to do with it? #greggang #plantsmakepeoplehappy #stringofwatermelons

How he started versus how he is doing now 🤗 Out of all the plants I have, I notice the growth on him more than anything. I’m usually not a green thumb but I am very proud of him for thriving so much 🩵🪴 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #StringOfWatermelons

What Underworldling Should I Name My #StringOfWatermelons After? So far, the only Underworldlings I know of are Tantalus the Thirsty (but it’s already taken by my thirsty little #TomatoPlant lol) and Sisyphus. Here’s a pic!
