How to fertilize California Croton

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your California Croton after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What other plant parents say

This plant is difficult. Ive had about 4 crotons and this one seems to be the only one to live to tell the tale. Shade when its hella hot (90 degrees+) otherwise i just water when Greg tells me to. Others died from being in > than 90•. Another because it wasnt getting enough sun. Once they like their environment u need to keep it there. If i were to bring this guy in the house he would definitely die
