This plant is my kid’s and it’s perfect for a small forgetful mind.
She painted the pot and picked this teeny tiny cornstalk dracaena to put in it. It was so small when we got it. Slowly and steady got bigger.
It has survived weeks of underwatering, then overwatering by my toddler.
It’s still here, getting bigger little by little.
It reminds you to water it bc the leaves start twisting/curling when it’s dry.
We love it.

If you’re a low-maintenance kind of plant person, maybe don’t get a larger dracaena. Mine has been finicky and I didn’t do enough research prior to purchasing. If you can’t live without it, know that it’s extremely fluoride sensitive, meaning you have to give it filtered water - nothing from your sink. Mine hates direct sunlight and any drafts coming from windows or doors (Midwest US), or anything but the highest quality soil. Now that I know all of that (and thanks to Greg), mine is doing much better. But it’s definitely one of my more difficult plants.
