Love this plant, the size, the leaves! And there seems to be knew leaves sprouting from the top all the time! However, the older leaves seem to brown really easily and one of my stalks actually died. But the plant will have those dying leaf tips while growing new leaves. Itâs quite perplexing. Regardless I love the way this plant looks in my room and what it adds to my space.

Mine bloomed this past winter. It grew long stems with tiny cauliflower like bulbs that turned into many small white flowers. I read that itâs rare for them to bloom so it felt special! However, it gives off a strong jasmine like fragrance. Itâs ok but Iâm our living room it was very strong. It grows new leaves a bit slower than other plants but they are hearty plants. I have sunburnt mine and overwatered it and I have finally got it happy again!

Oh Homer, you are a survivor! Iâve had you since you were 6â tall back in â98 and you havenât died from bouts of neglect. You must be at least 6â tall now. You like to lean for the light and get crispy leaf edges from low humidity. I water you when I feel like it and almost certainly when dry when finger testing. Mostly kept in indirect light. Very low maintenance. Hoping the recent repot will give you a boost because youâve earned it đ

I love this plant. Twenty five years later , I have two super huge beautiful plants that are about to reach the ceiling. If you have the room , do have one of these or more . I just bought two more , easy to take care of and beautifully green.
