How to fertilize Ming Thing Cactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Ming Thing Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

was wondering if by the looks if i should be worried i like rescuing plants, and i don’t think i’ve ever seen a cactus look quite like this. it almost looks like meldew in a way but it feels like the rest of the cactus.. also the roots look fine i checked when i repotted her.

Is the brown closer to the bottom concerning? my grandparents for me a couple plants (because they know i like saving them) and one of them has some brown on it. i’m wondering if i should be worried or how i should help her. it’s also a bit squishy but i don’t think it’s rot. i’m not sure if that’s normal for this cactus type.

Black spots on my cactus I’ve been nursing this #HedgeCactus back from the dead and it’s been thriving… but today I noticed several black spots on it. Overall it seems fine and healthy. Is this something I need to be concerned about?

Is there something wrong with my hedge cactus?

Surprised this grew after I separated one of those fancy grafted cacti my daughter had. Do I continue to just let the new growth grow? #PleatedCereus

I left for a trip and came back to my cactus completely lopsided. Is this root rot? Is there any salvaging this? 😩 #SpiralCactus

I have these little gnats that keep coming from somewhere in assuming from the cactus because they're mostly concentrated in that area but I also have a Boston fern plant close by. Just wondering what I should do to get rid of them for good? #HedgeCactus
