How to fertilize Aglaonema ‘Red Army’

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aglaonema ‘Red Army’ after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

My stem is retaining water visibly on the center, has become thinner, yellowish and is starting to bent. She is watered once weekly. Is on an eight inch pot with regular soil and perlite. What should I do to rescue her? #Aglaonema

Yellowing on Chinese Evergreen? I repotted her maybe just over a week ago and she had PRISTINE roots, bright white and just gorgeous. I had her on my windowsill (west facing) before I realised they don’t like direct light, and she got a bit burnt. This was maybe a week ago She’s not in direct light anymore, but some of her leaves are starting to yellow and it’s concerning. Several of her leaves are still in good knick though. My initial thought was root rot, but I’ve only watered her once so far. Greg said she likes water retaining soil so she’s in a mix of potting soil, sphagnum moss, a bit of coir, and lavalite I believe (can’t remember if it was lavalite or perlite) Thoughts on what could be causing this? Edit: given her a soak for around 10mins so will keep you posted on how it goes #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #ChineseEvergreen #help

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my Chinese Evergreen? I have another large one in my bedroom and it’s thriving and growing fast but this small one looks sickly.

Newbie plant parent asking for advice I got this Aglaonema a little less than a week ago. I noticed that one of the lower leaves has become yellow and looks a bit lifeless. The other leaves are fine. I checked for any pests and didn't find any, and the roots looked great when I repot it. The pot has a draining hole, and I used a mix of soil and clay pebbles. The plant is directly in front of a north facing window, so no direct sunlight. I've only watered it once with a little fertilizer, when i repot it the day i got it. Does anyone know what could be the cause of the leaf becoming yellow? Is it just the plant adjusting to the new home or have I done something wrong? How can I help the plant? #aglaonema #advice
