Finding light for Chinese evergreen in your home
Chinese evergreen can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Chinese evergreen in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Chinese evergreen
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Chinese evergreen after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Grow Light? #HappyPlants #Dieffenbachia #Aglaonema I decided to bring a few of babies in to my desk. My office is surrounded by natural light and windows, (there are windows adjacent 3-6 feet from multiple directions) but it’s slightly obscured by the way the cubicle is set up. I bought a grow light, but now second guessing if they need it in here. Do you think they will be fine without it, or would you put a grow light in the middle?

Does my pink splash look like it’s doing ok? I’m wondering if the smaller leaves on the bottom are typical in size or if it needs more light to get bigger leaves. Thanks! #Aglaonema

What is happening? I bought this at Costco a few weeks ago and now the leaves are turning burn and crispy. Help? #Aglaonema

Why is my plant yellow #Aglaonema

I got this plant a few weeks ago and the bottom most leaf is turning yellow. I did plant it in a slightly bigger pot and it is a self watering pot but doesn’t seem crazy wet to me. Any ideas? 🥹 #Aglaonema

#Aglaonema Help My #Aglaonema Have this yellow spots and the leaf color are pale but the leaves are healthy and not dead and the plant keep growing is that’s from sun or Fungus or leaf disease , the plant are so close from window and I know this plant don’t like sun so I move it cuz I don’t have space

Will I ever see some color because I’m his is a false alarm 🚨 #Aglaonema

#Aglaonema can someone tell me if these are flowers growing on my Pink Dalmatian and China Red? Overall both plants seem to be thriving but I’ve read somewhere that flowering can be a sign that the plant is on its last leg. I’m just curious if that is the case because my plants look pretty healthy and they are sprouting new leaf shoots all the time but this new growth doesn’t look like the leaf shoots. It’s much thicker. I’m fairly new to Aglaonema plants so I thought I’d ask some more experienced parents. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
