How to fertilize Baby's Tears
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Baby's Tears after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Any good tips for Baby's Tears? I've had a bit of a die-off of some plants, and as a preventative measure, I'm asking now #greggang. Do you have any tips on how to make these thrive? #babystears #stayinalive #pilea #plantssavedmymentalhealth #planttherapy #adhdplantlovers #indoorgardening #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Baby tears causing tears I rescued this #BabysTears from a Walmart clearance stand, but I’ve taken him from bad to worse. I took him out of his store pot, cleaned out all of the dead pieces, removed rotten roots, repotted it, waited overnight (it was SO SOGGY), and then watered it. It’s been declining ever since. 😥 Is there anything else I could do to help it, or it is a lost cause?

Baby’s tears, now I’m the one crying #BabysTears browning around the edge and Greg tells me I need to water him but he’s still heavily damp from when I repotted him a few days ago. Too much light? The soil is still just so damp!

I recently got this cutie. Her foliage is very dense and I can’t even manage to get a finger down to test the soil. Should I be repotting her into a bigger pot, or does she prefer this? #BabysTears

Terrarium drain hole? Fern + Baby's Tears Hi! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with terrariums with drainage holes. I set up a new plastic terrarium with potting soil and did not add a drainage layer. The terrarium itself is on a heating mat (72F) and under a grow light until it warms up. Would you recommend I add a drainage hole since I do not have a drainage layer? I can see a lot of water around the edges of the dirt as evident in the photo. I can provide more info below if necessary. Thanks for any help!
