Is my Aloe dying? 🥺
I’m hoping you can help me figure out what’s going on with my Aloe. I got it in a succulent variety pack back in March, but it didn’t come with a specific plant name. It’s been under a Sansi grow light and I’ve been watering it about every 2–3 weeks. It actually flowered from the end of June through July and seemed perfectly happy. After the flower stem dried up, I cut it off, and since then the plant has been steadily declining. 😭 So my questions are: Is this normal after flowering? Is there a chance I can save it? Or did I get one of those succulents that dies after flowering? I’d love any advice! 🌱💚 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

Looking at plant card image and the one here, I think it’s just lacking energy after blooming. Continues watering when it dries out and keep it under the light, in a few weeks it should put out some new growth and start to plump up again. The new growth should start looking vibrant, the older ones though will continue look a bit darker.
@iHasCheeks I have several varieties of aloes. They do not die after flowering. I have Sansi grow lights and sometimes I have a hard time finding the happy distance from the light. The leaves on your plant look curled up like it may have got too dry at some point. One issue I’ve encountered with succulents in non-terracotta pots is that the leaves dry out but when I stick a skewer down in the pot, it’s still too damp to water again. Also, be careful with the amount of rocks on top. They can slow down the drying out process. I’m not an expert, but just speaking from personal experience. Hopefully, someone else has some ideas for you.

Are you keeping this plant in direct light because it actually prefers light shade lol it sounds weird but direct sunlight would be too much.oh &do you rotate it 1 or 2 xs a week as well?But I definitely agree with @FamedGymealily since you said it just got finished blooming.In what other ways do you mean it looks like its dying?
@FamedGymealily thanks so much for this advice. You were right! I gave it a good soak with succulent supplements. It’s back to its plump self and most of the vibrant color is back except at the tips where it stayed darker. Thank you so much🫶🏼
