How do I separate the baby?

When I repotted her the baby aloe was super small but now it’s a little bigger I think I should separate it and put it in its own pot? Or should I leave it? And how do I separate it? Just cut the roots?? Help!! #BlushAloe #SucculentSquad #AloeVera #HappyPlants #NewGrowth

I would let it go a tiny bit longer. I did the same when mine was that size thinking it would be ok and it’s struggling.
First check if it is actually attached cause some of my plants have just been completely separate
@parlourofpalm it was definitely attached by the roots when I repotted her not that long ago.
Personally i would leave it in there longer 😊
Fun fact: aloe babies are called pups 🐢 I noticed you repotted! Good luck. Fyi I think aloe are ok being rootbound
@TastyMystax I repotted the whole thing a few months ago and it was very tight (I was actually a little nervous trying to get all the roots in there!) I’ve left the pup for now but I don’t know how long I am going to be able to leave it because it was so tight before the pup even got this big.
