For the Pothos emergency, based on the provided images and description, it appears that the plant may be suffering from overwatering, as mentioned, which has led to root rot. The dark, mushy spots on the leaves and the dying aerial roots are typical signs of overwatering. To address this:

1. Remove the plant from the pot and check the roots. If any are brown, mushy, or smell foul, trim them away.
2. Repot the Pothos in fresh, well-draining soil to prevent further water retention issues. Consider adding perlite or sand to improve drainage.
3. Allow the soil to dry out more between waterings to prevent recurrence. Water only when the top inch of soil feels dry.
4. Cut off any severely damaged or dying leaves to redirect the plant's energy toward healthy growth.

This should help revive the plant, but be mindful of the watering schedule moving forward.
Cut off any dying parts so it focuses its energy on new growth and wait for it to dry before watering again! Pothos are pretty resilient from my experience very easy going it should bounce back no problem. Maybe check the roots if it doesnโ€™t perk up in a few days to rule out any rot.

@Gustavo Yes, Loweโ€™s did not know what to do with this Pothos. It was soaking wet and brown when I got it. I did in fact find root rot. ๐Ÿ˜” So I stripped off all of the brown/black roots and sprayed it with a hydrogen peroxide and water mixture. I got new potting soil and Iโ€™m going to repot it today. Itโ€™s so sad but I hope it makes it, because it still has a lot of root left. ๐Ÿค—
@Elk hereโ€™s hoping it thrives! Good luck!
