It is being watered too much. Aloes store water in their leaves. Wait to water until the soil is completely dried out.

it’s your soil, even if you water less it will still hold water longer than the plant wants. they want gritty succulent mixes that dry out quickly.
@Aloehoarder thank you! ah okay! So you recommend to change out the soil with succulent soil?
@MyPlantWorld yes, but still mix that soil with some kind of chunky grit…expanded shale, turface, pumice, chicken grit, bonsai jack, perlite, etc…at least 50/50. even the succulent soils are still pretty organic/poor draining on their own.

They are over watered. If you aren’t overwatering, the soil could be retaining too much water.
