Adopted this plant from Sprout in the hospital section. Was told the plant is dormant, what do I do to help this little one grow?

During the winter, this plant remains dormant. As temperatures rise and the climate warms, it will begin to grow. If you received it from the nursery as a dormant plant, keep it in a warm place and stop fertilizing. Reduce watering, but make sure the container doesn't dry out completely.
