What kind of fertilizer should I use for aloe Vera plant?
@VinnieVonn I would recommend this. Jobeβs Succulent Fertilizer Spikes
Jobe's 06703 Succulent
But others I would limit the use since these plants donβt need a lot during growing season. Hope this helps!! Have an awesome day!!

I actually recommend to never use fertilizer spikes. It gives a very uneven amount of fertilizer and it is incredibly easy to burn plants with them.
To each their own though. I would recommend a good quality liquid fertilizer. Especially for aloe.
Succulents don't appreciate a lot of fertilizer. You are actually better off skipping it than giving too much. And once a spike is in there it's in there so every time you water it is going to get more. You have much more control with liquid. Can skip it when the plant is dormant and does not need any. This is incredibly important for cacti and succulents. Plus if a spike sits on or next to a root, then you will likely burn those roots.
So a liquid fertilizer at half strength. Once a month at most. I use Super Theive Foilage Pro but any will work just make sure it has NPK.
N- Nitrogen for leaves
P- Ohosphorous for root growth
K- Potassium for overall plant health
They will be listed on the front of the fertilizer you choose and look like this.
10-10-10
5-10-5
8-5-5
And many other combos. The number correlates to the percentage in the fertilizer.
For succulent you want to mix it so the numbers are below 5. Anywhere between 1-5 is acceptable. That is why I choose liquid it is easy to dilute it with water to make it a good fit to whatever plant you are feeding.
