Do I need to give this plant Sunlight or no?

Someone told me not to put them in sunlight but I dont know.

Also remember that all sunlight coming into our homes is, by definition, indirect light because it is being filtered by our windows. It's possible that your plant may not be close enough to receive adequate "bright" light and may need be moved closer to the window or a brighter, supplemental light source.

Mostly indirect light in a brighter area, just so the sun doesn’t scorch the leaves but still gets good light.

Yes, they need indirect sunlight. I’ve also heard that, but I’ve never had luck with it.

Bright, indirect light.  I have mine a few feet from an East-facing window.  I'm in the south.
