wait… could it be how cutting wounds from how i cut the avocado?? i possibly cut it too deep… just want to make sure it’s not a disease or anything

Yep, like @skyhighsplants said, it’s definitely a knife mark. It shouldn’t affect your plant at all, as all my avacados have them and are thriving nonetheless.
