How do you grow your #Alocasia corms?

I have a ton of baby corms off of my repotted Alocasia (mostly dragon variants) and I went to make more! MORE! Moooore mwahahaha

Ok. I calmed down. But seriously, how do you like to get yours growing? I tried with water and a shot glass before and they molded FAST. I’m trying a little greenhouse setup this time but I’m nervous! #corms #motherofdragons #AlocasiaAddicts
3ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage

All my corms I grow one way. I peel off the outer layer of the corm and place it in a small bowl/dish. Add a small layer of water and top it with clingfilm.

Non have molded/rotten, but my tip really is to peal the outer/brown layer. That will rot.

@Nathaliezyx4 ooooooooh good point!
Just potted these little ones (alocasia Polly and- possibly, don’t really remember - Cuprea) which developed from corms that I pop in a mix of sphagnum moss and some perlite in clear plastic containers under grow lights. Done it multiple times and never ever any corm rotted🀞🀞🀞
This is my raven zz. I've done similar to Alocasia. Place in perlite in a container with holes, then place this in another container with a little water. Cover with cling film. I take off the cling film every now and then for a day just to let some air in.
